Multimedia Perspectives launches OSPS, its new platform for processing and distributing audiovisual content over IP

Multimedia Perspectives has launched OSPS, a new professional platform designed to process, adapt and distribute audiovisual content over IP networks. The solution addresses an increasingly common reality in audiovisual projects: the need to receive signals in different formats and protocols and adapt them to the characteristics of each installation and to different distribution channels.

OSPS integrates IP/OTT sources such as HLS, DASH, SRT or UDP and adapts protocols, codecs, resolution and bitrate. The platform also processes and transcodes content and distributes it across IPTV, streaming and WebTV environments, making it accessible from different devices. Its applications also include transporting signals between different sites over the Internet.

The new platform has been conceived as a scalable solution that can complement existing headends and infrastructure, with no need to replace the whole system when new distribution needs arise. OSPS thus broadens the options for integrators and professionals to configure solutions tailored to each project and evolve them as their needs grow.
