Multimedia Perspectives renews the TV infrastructure of the Golden Carthage Hotel & Residence in Tunisia

Together with its partner ComTek, Multimedia Perspectives has taken part in the complete renewal of the TV infrastructure of the Golden Carthage Hotel & Residence, a five-star establishment in Gammarth, Tunisia, with more than 400 accommodation units and an international guest profile.

The project required a complete renewal of the distribution network and a TV offering tailored to guests of different nationalities and languages. The new headend includes 12 digital transmodulators and distributes more than 100 HD and SD TV channels from four satellites: ASTRA, Hotbird, Eutelsat and Arabsat.

The work also included renewing the RF network, from cabling and amplification to antennas and distribution components. The infrastructure also features dedicated hotel information channels and HDMI modulation to distribute customised content, integrating television into the communication services the establishment offers its guests.
